Goodwill Bend 2025

Goodwill Bend consisted of 100,000 tons of aggregate to be removed from a high density area in the City of Bend. D4 was responsible for in-close blasting within 100’ of multiple commercial buildings and 15’ from roadways. D4 utilized blasting techniques to minimize fly rock, while still achieving desired results.

CITY OF REDMOND

Redmond Wetlands Complex 2025

Redmond Wetlands Complex consisted of approximately 140 acres of a new wastewater treatment facility in Redmond, Oregon. This site had a staggering 2 million square feet of blasting, which totaled approximately 1.2 million tons of aggregate. D4 maintained an aggressive schedule of 850 holes blasted per day with zero incidents.

QUARRY

Knott Landfill 2025

Knott Landfill consisted of removing 300,000 tons of aggregate for expansion of garbage storage. D4 was contracted for the drilling and blasting of the cell expansion and final reclamation slopes. D4 worked closely with Knott Landfill engineers to achieve proper elevations of the 2:1 slopes and final cell grades.

Powell Butte Pit

Powell Butte Pit is one of the largest pit blasts in the Pacific Northwest. Over the years D4 has developed the optimum drill layout and powder factor to offer the best value results to our customers. D4 built this layout to minimize oversize, increasing production of crushing.
